Your brand, built around what you measure.

Three distinct identity concepts for MeasureMeter — each exploring a different visual language while anchoring to the same core: precision measurement across the thermal, acoustic, and ultraviolet spectrums.

Each concept includes logo applications on light and dark backgrounds, a defined color palette, typography specifications, and design rationale. Review all three, share your feedback, and we'll refine the chosen direction into the complete brand system.

Design Rationale

The stacked wordmark positions "MEASURE" as the dominant identifier — larger, heavier, and commanding visual priority. "METER" sits below in a refined light weight, right-aligned so its terminal edge aligns with "MEASURE." This creates a deliberate visual balance: the words are separate in hierarchy but unified in structure.

The spectrum bar bridges the gap between the two words, functioning simultaneously as a typographic spacer and a symbolic reference to the full range of wavelengths the product line measures. Every color in the gradient has meaning — thermal through UV. The bar's scale is intentionally restrained, calibrated to the height of the secondary word so it reads as a refined detail rather than a dominant mark.

This concept is best suited for formal business contexts: proposals, technical documentation, website headers, and trade show signage where credibility and professionalism are the primary objectives.

Brand Personality

Design Rationale

The chevron is a universal symbol of direction and forward momentum — here reinterpreted as a precision instrument. The gradient running from thermal coral at the top to UV violet at the bottom ties the mark directly to the measurement spectrum, giving it both visual energy and product meaning.

The chevron point is deliberately positioned at the midpoint between "MEASURE" and "METER," as if piercing the wordmark — creating a sense of drive and motion built into the logo architecture itself. "MEASURE" in heavy black weight anchors the mark with confidence, while the italic light-weight "METER" in Active Teal adds forward lean and contrast, its letters spaced to match the exact width of the word above.

This concept performs best in high-visibility brand contexts: trade event presence, digital advertising, product marketing, and anywhere bold instant recognition is the priority.

Thin vertical rule separates mark from wordmark
Brand Personality
Technical Engineering Precise Systematic
Design Rationale

The iris mark takes direct visual inspiration from the camera aperture — the most fundamental component of any imaging system. Three blades, each representing one of MeasureMeter's imaging spectrums (thermal, acoustic, UV), rotate around a shared center point to form a single unified symbol. This creates a mark that is both product-literal and graphically compelling as a standalone icon.

IBM Plex Mono creates a deliberate typographic break from the other two concepts. Monospaced fonts carry strong associations with engineering environments, data systems, and technical precision — all qualities core to the MeasureMeter product line. The thin vertical rule between the iris and the wordmark acts as a structural separator, letting both elements breathe independently while keeping the overall mark unified.

This concept excels in technical market segments: product packaging, inspection report templates, engineering documentation, digital interfaces, and any context where the brand needs to signal deep technical expertise. The iris mark also stands alone effectively as a badge or icon at small sizes.
